Following on from our Malta webinar in March which discussed Brexit, Funds and other topical subjects, this webinar will focus on the latest residency options on the island alongside a review of the local real estate market and opportunities for structuring marine and aviation assets.

Nicky Gouder - Partner, Seed Consultancy, Malta. Advising both corporate clients and High Net Worth Individuals & families, Nicky is a leading international tax specialist in Malta. He has advised and structured a number of international structures and transactions. He continues to advise a number of clients with family planning issues and also businesses restructuring programmes with a focus on both tax and change management particularly in relation to corporate culture, processes and the creation of long-term value to shareholders. He also has extensive expertise in investment migration, advising clients on residency and citizenship opportunities in Malta and beyond.
A regular commentator and speaker at international tax conferences, he has lectured in Advanced Taxation for the ACCA and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Investment Migration Council (IMC).

Grahame Salt - Director, Frank Salt Real Estate Group, Malta. Grahame holds a B.Sc. in Business and Computing from the University Of Malta and has been working with the Group for the past 28 years. He speaks Maltese, English, Italian and French.

Grahame has a vast level of experience in all aspects of the real estate market, both residential and commercial. He specializes in handling expats coming to Malta to buy permanent or holiday homes or even investment properties. He has represented the company in numerous overseas seminars and exhibitions mostly in the UK, but also in Dubai, Hong Kong, Holland, Italy, Sweden and for the last fifteen years he has handled the marketing to the South African market.

Grahame managed the Sliema Branch for a period of eight years starting in 1999, following which he took on the role of managing director for Homes Of Quality Limited - a sister company of Frank Salt Real Estate that specializes in the luxury property sector of the local market. Through Homes of Quality Grahame has been instrumental in brokering some of the largest residential real estate transactions in Malta. He also manages Berkley Investments Ltd., the group's investment company through which Grahame has developed a number of successful residential and commercial real estate projects. He works closely with clients requiring professional property valuations.

Grahame initiated the company's new Let's Go Environmental campaign and amongst other initiatives spearheaded an ambitious charitable project to cover the roof of the Inspire foundation building in Marsascala with Solar Panels.

Geraldine Schembri - Partner, EMCS, Malta. Geraldine is an accountant by profession and has spent most of her working life in taxation and international business structuring and she is the partner responsible for the international business team within EMCS where she works with high net worth individuals.

She started her career with Grant Thornton Malta where she covered various aspects of taxation both on the direct and indirect front, eventually setting up the international business arm of EMCS in 1999. She also held the post of a tax partner for two years in Grant Thornton in 2015 and 2016.

Geraldine has throughout the years been involved in various tax committees and contributed articles and is currently the Vice President of the Malta Institute of Taxation.

Chris Stokes - Director, Global Marine Services, Trident Trust, London. A graduate of Middlesex University (Dubai) and a qualified RYA Yachtmaster, Chris has spent over two decades working within the global maritime industry, developing deep expertise in all aspects of yacht ownership, operation and management. He is an active member of various marine associations and has been recognised with industry awards by the international yachting press on numerous occasions.

Chris is responsible for the development of Trident Trust's global range of maritime services, and works closely with our industry partners and a number of our key clients.
