Dawn Register - Head of Tax Dispute Resolution, BDO, London. Dawn manages voluntary disclosures and resolves complex tax investigations. She also uses mediation to resolve disputes with HM Revenue & Customs. Dawn specialises in UK personal tax and cross border issues. Her recent work has focused on changes in HMRC powers, information exchange and disclosure opportunities. Dawn is a recognised expert on tax amnesties and is a regular presenter and writer.

Dawn regularly contributes to articles and news stories from tackling tax avoidance to the tax implications of budget announcements.

In September 2018, Dawn was announced as New Partner of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards.

Paul Nixon, CEO at LGT Vestra US in London. Paul is the CEO at LGT Vestra US and Partner at LGT Vestra, responsible for establishing and building the LGT Vestra US business since 2012. He has extensive experience in working with US-connected clients and their advisers to ensure that their investments are not only suitable for the client and their objectives, but remain compliant and structured in the most efficient manner.

Prior experience working for a boutique private client firm focused on UK resident non-domiciled high net worth individuals, and Wholesale and International Banking roles in the UK, Miami and the Channel Islands.

Tom McPhail - Associate, Farrer & Co, London. Tom is an associate in the Disputes team at Farrer & Co. He regularly advises settlors, beneficiaries, trustees and protectors on a range of trust-related matters, including breaches of trust, directions applications, constructive trusts, allegations of sham and disputes over investment performance.

Tom has been involved in a number of high-profile disputes, including cases involving breaches of trust and fiduciary duty, civil fraud and complex jurisdictional issues.

Charles Hamilton Stubber - Senior Vice President, Lockton, London. Charles is a Senior Vice President within the Lockton Private Client Practice and has over 35 years' industry experience from his previous senior roles in Private Client Risk Management for high & ultra-high net-worth individuals and families. He is principally involved in structuring, negotiating and providing new, innovative insurance propositions to family offices, individuals and the wealth management sector's clients.

He is responsible for supporting clients in reviewing and implementing insurance requirements for individuals and families including homes, overseas properties, fine art, jewellery and collectables and extends to other assets and liability exposures both personal and corporate based. In addition, Charles has developed a specialist family office protection policy for family offices to cover exposures such as professional indemnity, directors and officers, crime and cyber.
