Vistra are delighted to be sponsoring a panel event in Geneva hosted by PCD Club on Wednesday 19th September at Hotel Le Richemond. The format for the evening is a panel discussion, followed by a networking cocktail reception.

We are delighted to confirm the expert panel as follows:

• Nicolas Delorme, Partner at Planet of Finance based in Geneva & Monaco. Nicolas is the co-founder of Planet of Finance, the leading online network for finance professionals. He established the company after working for many years with Lombard Odier in Geneva, including spending 5 years in Singapore establishing the bank's External Asset Manager (EAM) business. Having the made the leap into a entrepreneurial venture in 2015, Nicolas will share some insight on the challenges & rewards of growing the business and shifting from start-up into more established enterprise.
• Julius Bozzino, Director at Vistra Private Office based in London. Julius leads Vistra's Private Office global service from London, which provides a suite of family office services for proven entrepreneurs and UHNW clients, including fiduciary structures and support of business expansion With a background in finance & accountancy, he is passionate about helping entrepreneurs scale their business, enter new markets and achieve successful exits. The Vistra Group has 80 offices in 46 countries so are well placed to observe international trends for mobile clients. Julius will comment on the strong links between the UK & Switzerland in many sectors.
• Aliasghar Kanani, Tax Partner at Bonnard Lawson based in Geneva. Aliasghar is a partner in the Geneva office of Bonnard Lawson. He advises entrepreneurs on Swiss and International corporate tax law, which covers varied topics, such as international tax planning for multinationals and SMEs, group and financial restructuring. Aliasghar will give some observations on trends in entrepreneurship in Switzerland, based on his experience in dealing with clients. He is a member of the Swiss Bar Association, Geneva Bar Association, AIJA and International Fiscal Association (IFA).
• Ken Chapman, Head of Wealth Planning at EFG based in London (panel chairman). Ken has recently joined EFG in London as the Head of Wealth Planning. He has many years experience in advising wealth international families on tax and financial planning. Through his career, he has lead Wealth Planning teams at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse & Bank of Singapore often working in partnership with Swiss intermediaries. Ken is a Chartered Tax Advisor and member of STEP.

After the panel session, guests will have the opportunity to circulate and meet professionals from a variety of specialisms and locations, all of whom serve wealthy international families. PCD Club events are designed to aid networking and maximise business development opportunities in a relaxed and social setting. Take a look here for our last Geneva panel event. The majority of the audience will be compose of private client lawyers, accountants, wealth managers, bankers and trust companies.
