What do you do for Abacus Trust Group/Moores Rowland?

I am a Tax Director in Monaco and have been with Moores Rowland since 2018. I am a dual-qualified French and English lawyer with many years of experience in advising private clients on French tax and other legal issues. I began my career in 2000 with Arthur Andersen in Paris and then moved to London where I worked at BDO Stoy Hayward LLP and Grant Thornton LLP in their private client tax departments. Prior to joining Moores Rowland, I was an Associate and then Partner in the Private Capital Team at Gowling WLG from 2008 to 2017.

What do you love most about your role?

Considering the technicity and complexity of tax matters and then delivering options or an outcome that the client is satisfied with.

What has been your greatest achievement?

I arrived in Monaco in 2008 with one single client in my portfolio. Over the years I have always worked on building longer term relationships and I am delighted that so many of my clientele regularly return for further advice and assistance.

How has your business adapted in light of COVID-19?

I had to work more from home. This gave me the opportunity to find a better balance between my family life and my professional life.

Why did you join PCD?

Business development has always been a very important part of my job. It was normal for me to join a network when I can potentially meet new professional contacts and clients.
