Join us for a discussion on the latest trends from Scottish residential property including, tax, legal, finance and asset management considerations for investors.

The discussion will be hosted on Zoom and include a live discussion with a distinguished panel, followed by small group discussions using Breakout Rooms to enhance the networking and discussion. This will allow our members to interact directly with each other and the panelists. A full guest list will be circulated to those that attend.

James Edwards - Chartered Tax Advisor, Anderson & Edwards, Edinburgh. Jamie is a chartered tax advisor with extensive experience in investment property taxes. Jamie advises individuals and companies on the best way to structure your property business and also how to make the best use of your allowances.

As the tax director in the accountancy firm Anderson & Edwards Ltd, Jamie offers a level of tax advice that is not typically available in smaller accountancy practices.

Jemma Richardson - Director, Anderson Strathern, Edinburgh. Jemma is an award winning residential property specialist who provides tailored advice to individual and commercial clients. She has particular expertise in the premier residential property market. Jemma is the deputy head of the firm's residential property team, responsible for the development of systems and resources which allow the team to provide an agile and efficient service in the central belt's fast-paced property markets.

Jemma has more than a decade of experience of residential conveyancing matters and an established network of industry contacts. Her clients have praised her as being "proactive, focused and diligent" and she retains the dynamic approach which saw her win the Rising Star of the Year Awards at the Scottish Legal Awards in 2016.

Charles Inness - Head of Business Development, Glenham Property, Edinburgh. Charlie has worked in the property industry for over 20 years located in both Scotland and London. In that time, he has gained experience in most aspects of the property sector from residential lettings and property management to development, commercial property, estate management, but his true passion lies in property investment.

Charlie was instrumental in setting up one of the first investment consultancy businesses in Edinburgh when buy to let first appeared on the scene and since then has helped many clients purchase strong performing residential investments. Charlie is also an investor himself with a portfolio of properties in Scotland.

Duncan Buchanan - Banking Director, Hampden & Co, Edinburgh. Duncan has more than 25 years' banking experience gained in roles with Bank of Scotland Private and the Lloyds Banking Group. He joined Hampden & Co in 2018. Duncan works with a wide range of high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients and their professional advisers, specialising in serving those with unusual or complex banking needs.

Duncan is a recommended banker in the Spear's 500.
