Networking dinner, Mumbai

PCD Club is delighted to launch in Mumbai on Friday 15 February at the prestigious St Regis Hotel. The Gold sponsors for the event are Jersey Finance, Zedra from Jersey, ARQ Group from Malta & London law firm Edwin Coe. The Silver sponsors are St George, Part of the Berkeley Group from Dubai.

The format of the evening will as follows:

  • 1630 arrival for chaired panel discussions from 1700 on two key topics for HNW Indian resident investors: UK Property Investment & Structuring; Mobility & Relocation into Europe for Family members.
  • 1830 reception commences following the panel. Guests will have the opportunity to circulate and meet professionals from a variety of specialisms and locations, all of whom serve wealthy international families. PCD Club events are designed to aid networking and maximise business development opportunities in a relaxed and social setting.
  • 1930 guests will sit for dinner according to a seating plan designed with our sponsors and table hosts to maximise the opportunity for relevant contacts to meet and interact.

The UK Property Investment & Structuring panel will feature:

  • Sean Bannister - Sean is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor and leads the tax advisory business for Edwin Coe. He works for clients with assets and business interests globally, is well versed on multi-jurisdictional issues and has a wealth of experience advising those who are seeking to ensure their tax affairs are administered in a framework that is both effective and compliant.

  • Jamey Dwyer - Jamey has extensive global experience working with HNW and UHNW families administering multi-jurisdictional private client structures. He has a wealth of experience dealing with clients who have global assets and has worked closely with high quality legal and tax advisors, accountants and investment managers to provide effective solutions.

  • Mona Jalota - Mona is based in Mumbai and founded Krypton Global Investments. She has worked for 10 years in the Global Markets for inbound and outbound inquiries and has a solid performance track record. Mona has launched products of developers from various locations such as London, New York, Malaysia, Kenya, Muscat so is well placed to provide an international perspective of Indian resident investors.

  • Eirini Nousia - Eirini founded Golden Venn following 6 years in wealth management with EFG Private Bank in London. Golden Venn was set up in 2007 in order to assist international investors with their property acquisitions in the prime central London market. Initially, the company assisted investors in search of prime residential properties. However, increasingly Golden Venn has been expanding its expertise to include residential properties in the broader London area and commercial property, covering office space and hotels. Eirini is a regular visitor to Mumbai and commonly works with Indian resident investors.

  • Jonathan Duncan - Well-versed in UK real estate and the Berkeley Group portfolio having over a decade of experience. Jonathan moved to the region six years ago to support The Group and open the MENA & India office in Dubai. He has been responsible for developing the market and sales infrastructure in India for the last 18 months.

The Relocation and Mobility panel will feature:

  • Hetal Sanghvi - Hetal has worked extensively with Indian families and advisors, managing pre arrival planning and cross-border succession. She is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor and achieved distinctions in her ATT qualification. She was also voted Top 35 Under 35 for 2015, 2016 and 2017 by eprivateclient.

  • Nicky Gouder - Nicky specialises in international taxation with a focus on domestic legislation, handling a wide portfolio of local and international clients across various industries. He also has extensive expertise in investment migration, advising clients on residency and citizenship opportunities in Malta and beyond.

  • Abeezar E. Faizullabhoy - Abeezar is the senior partner of HSA Advocates Mumbai office. His practice areas cover Arbitration and Litigation and a wide spectrum of corporate and civil laws under the Corporate Commercial space. He will cover the latest trends for Indian resident investors on international trade and cross border commercial activity.

  • Richard Nunn - Richard will discuss the use of Jersey in international mobility as a jurisdiction for administering corporate, fund or trust structures for international entrepreneurs. He will also cover Jersey's expertise as a centre of excellence for Family Office administration.

The majority of the audience will be compose of private client lawyers, accountants, wealth managers, bankers and trust companies. Our goal is to make new connections between advisors based in key global financial centres. A full guest list will be provided to all delegates in advance of the event. We are expecting good numbers of guests from the Channel Islands, UK, Isle of Man and Switzerland.
